PERSONAL BIO

Born in the summer of 1969, my life since has followed some unexpected roads and detours. One thing has remained consistent: I have always been a philosopher-psychologist of one sort or other, although not necessarily a good one. But I keep thinking anyway.

Despite a history of questionable philosophy, life has rewarded me. I live with a loving partner named Carrie A. Beach who possesses beauty and intelligence. We have friends and family who help us to keep an open heart and mind. We have jobs. And we share a nice, rented apartment with two loving cats named Gypsy and Bran and several houseplants. I cannot complain about my personal life, especially when compared with many others who struggle with little or nothing. (Politics is another story.)

May the universal mystery guide us all toward better times.

INTERESTS

Many of my personal interests arise from a passion for games. I believe that games can be fun and educational and sometimes provide natural therapy. My favorite kinds of games are roleplaying games, computer games, and I must admit a special fondness for computer roleplaying games (CRPGs). I also enjoy consoles, board games and card games.

Other interests include computer programming, building and fixing computers, hermeneutics, and winemaking.
