Teacher: Justin Bass
Justin Bass is from East Cleveland, Ohio and attended Kent State University and majored in Dance Education in 2009. In 2011 he transferred to SUNY Brockport and graduated this spring with his BFA in Dance where he studied with a former RDT alumnus, William (Bill) Evans. Justin is a versatile performer with a technical background in Cecchetti ballet and has studied a variety of modern dance techniques including Paul Taylor, May O’Donnell, Contemporary Modern Release, hip-hop and Jazz, (Fosse, Luigi and Broadway Jazz).

Teacher: Efren Corado EFREN CORADO completed his MFA at the University of Utah and is Creative Director of Project Revisited Grounds, which uses dance concerts to promote longevity in community-serving agencies. As a performer Efren has performed works by BARE Dance Company with artistic director Mike Esperanza, Sean Green of Gallimaufry and Green, Stephen Koester, Andrea Sobke, Abby Fiat, Nancy Dickson-Lewis, Amy Nakamura and Heather Gillette. Efren’s most recent accomplishments include a second place with the Choreography Design Project in conjunction with the Utah Regional Ballet for his piece “A Road to Remembrance” and winner of the Sugar Show with this work “Transcripts.” Efren is also a CLMA.

Teacher: Aaron Wood Aaron Wood holds an Associate of Arts in Dance Performance from Casper College, a BFA in Theatre and Dance from the University of Wyoming, and an MFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah. He has had the opportunity to perform at The Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, The White Wave Dance Festival, The American Dance Guild’s 50th Anniversary, and The International Choreographer’s Showcase. Together with Sarah Donohue, he continues his choreographic explorations in their dance company My Turkey Sandwich. This is Aaron’s sixth season dancing with RDT and his fifth year teaching and co-directing for Repertory Dance Theatre’s Community School.

Teacher: Tyler Orcutt TYLER ORCUTT was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He started ballroom dancing as a kid, and later transitioned into ballet and modern. He holds a BFA in modern dance from the University of South Florida. He has had the privilege of working with and performing in the repertoire of choreographers such as Bill T. Jones and Doug Varone. Tyler just joined Repertory Dance Theatre this season, and is excited for what the future holds.
