When I was a young boy, doctors told their patients that Chiropractic was not beneficial. And medical insurance did not cover Chiropractic treatments. When I was a young adult, Acupuncture received tha same cold shoulder from conventional health care workers. Today, many insurance plans do cover these treatments. I believe we will see the same with Classical Homeopathy.
As to why many people don't even hear about Homeopathy, consider this. A bottle of a Homeopathic remedy usually costs less than ten dollars. Is this something that a drug company would be happy about? Not if the remedy works, and people are pleased with it, and return to Homeopathy the next time they need help with their health. Which is what happens. And drug companies are not happy about this. And they are doing something about it. Because of the advertising dollars they spend, on which TV and radio stations, and newspapers and popular magazines, are dependent, they are able to force those media to relay false data about Homeopathy, not as advertisements, but as regular program, and published articles, content. And the salesmen who work for drug companies, and visit with doctors every day, tell them various false data about Homeopathy whenever the subject comes up. Doctors, who for the most part have never read a single sentence from the work of Dr Hahnemann, or any other Master Classical Homeopath, are generally content to relay the false data imparted by drug salesmen, because it encourages their patients to remain with them, rather than to try any alternative practice. This is not very ethical behavior, but neither is it illegal. And while we might distain the doctor who has taken a solemn oath to do what is best for the patient, the drug company is run by officers who are held accountable to act in the financial best interest of their corporation, not in the best interest of any patient. This last fact bears repeating. The officers of all corporations, which includes all drug companies, are not required by law to tell you the truth about anything. Nor are they required to act in your best interest. But they are required, by law, to do what is best for the financial well being of their corporation. This last fact, as horrible as it is, ultimately is why health care is not in a better state than it is in our country.
For over two hundred years, as long as Classical Homeopathy has been helping people to their satisfaction, pharmaceutical interests have been the source of false data about Homeopathy, and it is the same few tired lies retold and retold.
Drug salesmen, and media controlled by them, say that Homeopathy uses dangerous substances. This is false. Some remedies are prepared using harmful substances, but only for a short while in the very beginning of research, did Dr Hahnemann actually administer harmful substances to his patients. Since then, those harmful substances are filtered out of the preparation by massive dilutions before it is available to anyone, and this has been the universal practice in Homeopathy for over two hundred years. Yet drug companies still tell this lie, because they are not required to tell the truth, and the lie is effective in scaring people.
Drug salesmen, and media controlled by them, say that Homeopathy couldn't possibly work, because the amounts of natural substances given to people is too small to do anything. This is false. The simple fact is that millions of people all over the world have experienced that Homeopathy does help, and attest to such by continued patronage of Homeopath consultants, and Homeopathic remedies. It is relevant to note that this lie told by drug salesmen contradicts their own first lie, that Homeopathy uses dangerous substances.
Remember that remedy preparation includes filtering by many dilutions until no substance is left. But that doesn't mean that nothing is left. And the fact that it does help people means that something is there. But if there is no substance, no physical material, then what is it? It is some type of energy. To give an intuitive sense of this, consider two identical pots of pure water, one at 40 degrees, the other having been heated to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. They both are the exact same substance, pure water, but they have different energy, and indeed, their effect on the body would be different, the second producing a very pleasant warming sensation on a cold winter day. Or consider two rectangular bars of identical iron metal, but only one of them having been magnetized by having been brought close to a powerful magnet. These two bars are exactly the same substance, but they would not be totally identical, because only one of them would pick up little bits of steel, and that is because the magnetized one would have different energy than the other. A Homeopathic remedy in the little vial in which you purchase it, is little milk sugar pellets, and there is no other substance in there. But those pellets do contain something of the energy of the natural material from which it was made. And that is why when a person takes one, something different happens than if someone takes an ordinary sugar pellet which does not have the energy of another natural material in there.
Drug salesmen, and media controlled by them, say that Homeopathy is only a placebo, that is, it has no effect on anyone except to deceive them that something is being done to help them. This is false. We know it is false, because Homeopathy works for infants, and in the hands of trained veterinarians, for animals too. Placebo has no meaning for these two classes. Neither an infant, nor an animal, would comprehend that "the little pill they are taking is medicine".
Any criticism you ever hear of Homeopathy, if you stop and think about it, is one of these three lies. Not very creative. And all else there is to say about Classical Homeopathy is said by those who have studied the works of master Homeopaths, and those who see in the real world the results of its expert application to themselves and to others in need. These people number in the many millions, and they live all over the world. Homeopathy works.
