Homeopathy: Beyond Flat Earth Medicine. Timothy R. Dooley is an MD, ND, and a classically trained Homeopath. He is uniquely qualified to make the statement that in almost all cases, except life threatening emergencies, the treatment of first choice should be Homeopathy, because it is gentle. It makes sense not to expose a person to toxic drugs, when a mild natural preparation may suffice. It's a small book. You can read it in one evening before bed. This title can be read online, for free.
Everybody's Guide to Homeopathic Medicine, by Dana Ullman and Stephen Cummings, is a very popular reference for the home prescriber for minor ailments, first aid, and other non-serious conditions.
The Life and Letters of Dr. Hahnemann is a very engaging collection of memorabilia from the life and experiences of this extraordinary and inspiring pathfinder.
The Organon of Medicine, is the seminal work by which Dr. Samuel
Hahnemann first presented and explained this subject to the world in
1810. This edition from Cooper Publishing, is translated from the original German by three MD's
who were practicing Homeopaths: Kunzli, Naude, and Pendleton, and is my overall preferred
rendering. In 283 pages, it is very dense, and almost
definitely will necessitate acquisition of the Homeopathic Dictionary,
by Jay Yasgur, and in addition, any medical dictionary. This is not
light reading, but the project will reward your efforts.
Lectures on Homeopathic Materia Medica, and Repertory of the
Homeopathic Materia Medica, both by Dr. James Tyler Kent, are core
reference material for every Classical Homeopath. Materia Medica is a
compendium of medicinal substances used by Homeopaths,
with detailed descriptions of the circumstances for which each is
appropriate. A repertory, from the Latin "reperire", means: to find, and is
a place where things are stored, or is a list of items to be used. So a
Homepathic repertory is an index of symptoms, and the remedies that
would be appropriate for each. It can be thought of as an extensive index
to Materia Medica. Not for the casual reader.
Materia Medica With Repertory, by Dr. William Boericke, is a
professional reference, small yet usable, with
detailed specifications for the employment of hundreds of remedies. Not
for the casual reader.
If you would assert your rights concerning your family and other loved ones as regards vaccination,

For some guidelines regarding lifestyle and nutrition, The Miracle of Fasting, by Patricia Bragg,
is an excellent place to start. Don't let the title discourage your interest in reading this little gem. Its only around 10% about fasting.
The balance is a well rounded survey, in very simple language, of how to stack the elements and odds of lifestyle choices in your favor.
There is so much that is so effective that you can do, with some moderate adjustments to what you eat and how you live.
This book changed our lives.
