Relative Power
The TARDIS slips into an alternate dimension where humankind was almost destroyed by nuclear bombs. The few survivors are led by the cruel Sisters, who aren't really Sisters, but look surprisingly familiar ...
From Episode One:
The Commander approached the Doctor, who was merely standing there, watching all that went on, grinning like a madman. “Why don’t you just surrender and come along peacefully?”
The Doctor turned slightly, not wanting to completely take his attention from the excellent fight Julie was putting up. “Do I look anything but peaceful?” he questioned.
“Perhaps a bit insane,” she noted.
Politely, he tipped his hat. “How very nice of you to notice. Your hairstyle suits you well.”
She nearly smiled at his compliment until she remembered her task. “You know,” she mentioned, “I could put a gun to your head and yell for your friend to stop her resistance or you could tell her to stop this futile effort yourself. Might get you a few points with the sentencing.”
“Ah, but you are operating under the belief that, if you attempt to place a weapon to my head, I shall submit without resistance. However, if you were to attempt such an action, my instinctive reaction would be to attempt to disarm you. I do not like to use force against ladies, but if I was forced to, I would. Since I don’t wish to wrestle with you and I’m sure you don’t want to risk losing a fight any more than I do, let’s be fair and call it a draw. We’ll see how Julie’s fight goes and settle our matter by that. Agreed?”
