Abstract:
Far into the future, after today's society lies crumbled and forgotten, a small band of travellers search for the place called

one of the expedition are lost. He returns home with shame, and dies a decade later leaving nothing but a few pictures
and a copy of Mark Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. A young woman by the name of Chaka is
given this book upon the man's death. Her brother, Arin, was among the dead from the first expedition to Haven. She
teams up with a few others, among them the lone survivor's son, and they go in search once again for the place called
Haven.

Spectre's Review
This was a very interesting read. I found it dissapointingly slow at times, but still very interesting. There isn't a great deal
of action in this one. It took a third of the book just to get them to the interesting point of sending off the Second Expedition.
Half the team dies, but they all die in dumb situations, where they didn't have to die. That was okay, though, because it
made it unexpected when the person died. Jack did a good job of developing the character to the point where you really
were disappointed when they died. The ending was about as weak as an ending can get. For that reason, I knocked down
another notch. It's worth the read, but I probably wouldn't keep the book in my permanent collection.
Spectre's Rating
Dumb ending.
