Spectre's Review
Only the first and the last stories have happy endings. I loved that! A twist between sci-fi and horror, Monteleone does a
great job moving through time, and observing the evolution of a city built by man, who later becomes self aware and pretty
much destroys everything around. Monteleone has a very interesting way of making the reader think of a message the
story has, when in some cases, there may not be a message, just a nightmare. I found the way the evolution of mankind
(from physical being to energy being) quite invigorating.
Spectre's Rating
Oo! Nice and disturbing!
