SL Chapter meeting at REI, 3285 E. 3300 So., Salt Lake City, Utah
Topic: Native Plant Propagation. Speaker: Faye Rutishauser. Meeting is open without charge to all members of the public.
After working at Red Butte Garden for some years (and serendipitously discovering a tiny occurrence Viola beckwithii on the grounds), Faye started New Horizons Nursery, Erda, Utah, to propagate Utah native plants. She will share tips on how to propagate native plants from seed and how to grow these drought-tolerant plants successfully in your own garden.

Chapter Information
Chapter President General information Regular meetings/activities
Kipp Lee

Chapter area covers all of Salt Lake County, however, folks in neighboring counties are always invited to participate (Davis Co., Tooele Co., Summit Co., Utah Co.) as well as anyone who might be in the area at the time. While intended for members, meetings are open to the public. Please come and see what we are all about!

The chapter meets regularly in the off season (Sept/Oct thru May typically). In the past this has been on the first Tuesday of each month (but more recently has migrated to Wednesday and not necessarily the first or even second since it depends on REI availability) at REI at the top of 3300 South in Salt Lake City; however, the day of the week and location are both subject to change.
