Head Coach Sonia Witte has coached youth, open and masters rowers to wins at Head of the Charles, New England Interscholastic Rowing Association Championships, USRowing Club National Championships, and USRowing Masters Nationals. Sonia coaches for technical precision, and loves to see her crews commit feats of inspiration. Coach Nicole Hamory coached the Buckingham Brown and Nichols girls to 2 National Championships before coming to Utah Crew. Nicole will use her expertise in yoga to increase the flexibility and the mind-body connection of the rowers for greater general athleticism. Coach Andrew McGee was the Captain of the Dartmouth University Heavyweight Crew that won the Ladies Challenge Plate at the Henley Royal Regatta in England. Andrew loves watching high school rowers test their physical limits and knows nothing more beautiful than watching a really fast crew shell skim across the water. Utah Crew also benefits from the help of a strong team of parent volunteers and intern coaches. |
