Family History Library to Hold Classes on Understanding Technology  

If you are struggling to understand the latest technology and how it can help you organize and preserve your family history, now is your chance to learn.  On Saturday, October 13, 2007, the Family History Library is offering classes on understanding technology and its uses.  The topics include “Digital Imaging, Recording, and Flash Drives,” “USB and U3 Keys and How to Use Them,” “Creating Files on Your Computer,” and “Organizing Your Computer Files.”  The classes will be held on the main floor of the library.  To view the class schedules online, go to www.familysearch.org. The library is located to the west of Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City. Parking is available for a fee at the northwest corner of West Temple and North Temple streets. To register for these free classes, send an email to FHLClassReg@ldschurch.org or call 801-240-4950. 


Family History Library to Hold Research Series on Wales

On Saturday, October 13th, the Family History Library is offering an all-day series of classes on Welsh research. Specific topics include Research Peculiarities, Overview of Records, and Land and Probate records. Classes run from 10:15 AM to 2:30 PM (with a lunch break at 12:30) and will be held in the auditorium of the Church History Museum to the north of the library.
