Often preparing for Christmas gets so stressful with all the gifts to purchase and wrap that we are too busy to enjoy our families, the season, and the true meaning of Christmas. 

This year, our ward held a short activity to give to those truly in need in lieu of neighborhood gifts.  It was advertised as a "Neighborhood Holiday Evening of Sharing."  Invitations were delivered to non-member homes as well as to member families.  It really did help take some of the pressure off us moms to not have to do all the neighbor gifts.

Over a ton of food was collected for the food bank and over $1,700.
