Lesson on  Taking the Lord’s Name in Vain

A teacher stumbled and fell and dropped a load of books.  In anger he loudly called out the name of the boy on the front row.

The boy said,  “I didn’t do anything—why’d you say my name?”

The teacher said,  “I don’t know—it’s just the first name that came to my mind.”   I guess I should have said,  “Jesus Christ”  or  “Oh, God” like everyone else does.”

         The class grew quiet.

The boy said,  “No, use my name before you use His.”
