Graveside funeral services for E.A. Whitnah, 68, of Pninsula Point, Lake Athens, are scheduled for Friday at 2 p.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Ross officiating.
Mr. Whitnah died Tuesday afternoon at his home after a long illness.
Mr. Whitnah was born Oct. 28, 1912, in Kansas and had lived at Lake Athens since October 1979. He had previously resided in Little Rock, Ark. and was a retired dispatcher for American Airlines. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and a longtime ham radio operator with call letters W-5 H AA.
