Miss Whitnah Says Vows

Taken from The Los Angeles Times, Saturday February 12, 1955

Belgian lace worn by her mother at her wedding draped the bodice of Miss Jeanne Helen Whitnah's gown for her wedding with Donald James Weaver in St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Westwood Hills.(1)

Daughter of Mrs. Christy Whitnah, and the late Verne D. Whitnah, the bride was given in marriage by Edwin Ewing Jr.

Attendants were Misses Lynne Huckins, Marge Miller, Carlann Jones and Penny Burt. Robert Weaver stood with the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Richard Weaver of Cheviot Hills. Ushers were Richard Le Matre, William Stevens and Glenn Johnson.

CANDLELIGHT toned gown complimented fair beauty of Jeanne Whitnah, now Mrs. Donald Weaver.

I'm sure the photo does not do her justice. It is an enhanced copy of a poor photocopy of the original newspaper print.
