Jaguars
| The jaguar is being hunted for it's beautiful fur.
Jaguars hunt mostly on the ground, but they will
climb trees and wait for the prey below. One jaguar, tagged by a biologist, was next seen 500 miles away in a new hunting ground. The jaguar is the only big cat in the cat family that does not roar. All subspecies are endangered. Many subspecies are already extinct, except in zoos. One way to help save the jaguars would be to open a jaguar reserve which would be a place where people wouldn't have to look at them and disturb them. |
