The siberian tiger spends most of its time humting, because only about 1 in 10 of its hunting trips is successful. Siberian tigers are capable of dragging prey that would take more than 12 men to move. One siberian tiger travelled 620 miles in two days in search of food. The heaviest siberian tiger on record weighed almost 850 lbs.. Siberian tigers are endangerd because poachers are killing them for their fur and bones to sell to the Chinese. Siberian tigers need to eat over 20 lbs. of meat a day to sustain itself in a cold climate.
