This page details things that I have done, or that I have tried to do, or whatever.

I guess this will turn into a resume of sorts, but hopefully it will be more than that, with links to what I have done, and little snippits and examples and statements of what I have learned.

I am a notary for the Thawte Web Of Trust system.

I have a running log about my prius, detailing everything from before the purchase. You may find it fun to read, or informative, or whatever.

We hold a pass to The Tracy Aviary here in town. It is one of the two Aviaries registered with the AZA. If you aren't familiar with the term, it is a zoo of birds. They have free-flight bird shows (which I think are best when the birds misbehave) and many special events, such as the one of the largest Easter-egg hunts in the nation, as well as events on other holidays. They provide assistance to injured birds, and help with the recovery of bird species and endangered birds, including the Trupeter Swan. One exhibit, the Parrot Encounter, is a memorable experience. Several times each day, you may (for $1 per person) go to an enclosure with many Parrots and hand-feed them. The like to climb on you, play with your hair, and eat your apple pieces. If you visit the city for a few days with your kids, GO TO THE AVIARY, and bring a camera. If you go to the parrot encounter, it's only $5 per person.

• Davis Applied Technology Center, (which is now a college) completed all of the computer programming courses while in high school. They have a transfer agreement to take the 18-month certificate in exchange for 16-credit hours at my Weber State University (below). I was actually working for about 40% of the time, the other 60% I goofed off with friends, wrote a bunch of graphics code (mode 13h and ModeX) such as pixelmap loaders, various lens effects (now I would call them procedurally defined kernels), the ubiquitous 'fire' screens, and even a few small games.
• Weber State University, where I graduated from the Computer Science Department Cum Laude with University Honors and Departmental Honors.
• Brigham Young University, where I attended the Computer Science Department for 3 years in the hopes of getting my MS degree with a thesis on advanced rendering processes for arbitrarily complex polygonal topologies (ie: drawing big computer models) but was summarily booted from the program when they decided that they didn't want to continue research in that area, and I didn't want to change to their suggested research areas (and spend another two years in school).
