I purchased this guitar brand new at Guitar Center in Taylorsville, UT on 6/19/15. Gibson was having a contest on what would have been Les Paul's 100th birthday. You had to buy a guitar, write an essay, and they would choose winners a pay you back for the guitar. I bought this one, wrote an essay, and won! I was a Guitar Center with my wife late trying to decide whether to buy this or not and they closed. We ran out and told them that I wanted to buy this guitar. They couldn't find the original case. They had to give me a case from another guitar, so I don't have the original paperwork.
