Chocolate Mint Brownies
 
 
1 cup    Butter  
4 sq    Unsweetened baking chocolate  
2 cups    Sugar  
1/2 tsp    Peppermint Extract  
4   Eggs  
1-1/3 cups    Flour  
1/4 tsp    Salt  
Frosting  
2-2/3 cups    Powdered sugar  
1/4 cups    Cocoa powder  
1/4 cups    Butter  
1/3 cups    Hot water  
1 tsp    Peppermint extract  
 
1 In a saucepan, combine butter and unsweetened chocolate. Melt stirring constantly. Cool. Stir in sugar and peppermint extract. Add eggs, flour, and salt. Stir until well blended.
2 Spread into a 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake at 350° for 25-35 minutes. Cool.
3 Frosting: Combine powdered sugar, cocoa powder, butter, water and peppermint extract until well blended. Spread over brownies.
 
Ready in: 1 hour and 15 minutes
