Coconut Bread
 
 
4   Eggs  
2 cups    Sugar  
1 cup    Vegetable oil  
3 cups    Flour  
1/2 tsp    Baking Powder  
1/2 tsp    Baking Soda  
1/2 tsp    Salt  
1 cup    Butter  
1 cup    Coconut  
1 cup    Walnuts opt  
Syrup  
1 cup    Sugar  
1/2 cup    Water  
2 Tbs    Butter  
1 tsp    Coconut Extract  
 
1 Mix ingredients together and bake at 325° for 50-60 minutes. Remove from oven, but do not remove from pans. Pour syrup over bread. Let stand for four hours.
Syrup
1 Bring Sugar, water and butter to a boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat add 1 tsp coconut extract.
