Cream Cheese Pound Cake
 
 
1-1/2 cups    Butter  
8 oz    Cream cheese  
2-2/3 cups    Sugar  
6   Eggs  
3 cups    Flour  
1 tsp    Vanilla  
 
1 Cream butter and cream cheese together. Gradually add sugar beating until light and fluffy, about 5-7 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add flour, beat until blended. Stir in vanilla.
2 Pour into greased and floured 10" tube pan. Bake 1-1/2 hours 300°. Cool 15 minutes before placing on wire rack.
 
Yield: 12-16 slices
Cooking time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
