Mix dry ingredients. Gradually add milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and boiling. About 3 minutes. |

Remove from heat, slowly stir in at least 1 cup mixture into egg yolks. Blend into hot mixture. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Blend in butter and vanilla. Cool |
