Lollipops
 
 
3-3/4 cup    Sugar  
1-1/2 cups    Light corn syrup  
1 cup    Water  
1 tsp    Flavoring oil  
  Food coloring  
 
1 Mix sugar, syrup and water in a large, heavy saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil without stirring until temperature reaches 310 or until drops of syrup form hard and brittle threads in cold water.
2 Stir in flavoring and coloring. Pour over sticks on lightly oiled cookie sheet. Cool.
3 To decorate: Dip candies in light corn syrup and stick on lollipops.
