Put all ingredients in a medium bowl and beat by hand until smooth.(If using dry milk, put all ingredients into the bowl except water. Add water little at a time while beating to get the consistency of the batter you like. |

Pour 1/2 cup of batter onto hot griddle. Cook until pancakes are puffed and dry along edges. Turn and cook other side until golden brown. |

(Hint: Top the pancake with a pat of butter after you flip it while it's still on the griddle.) |
