Pizza Dough
 
 
1-1/2 tbs    Yeast  
1 cup    +2 tbsp warm water  
2 tbs    Shortening  
1 tsp    Salt  
1 tsp    Sugar  
3 cups    Flour  
 
1 Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add shortening, salt, sugar and flour. Knead slightly. Let stand 20 minutes in a bowl. Grease pan and spread dough.
2 Cook 5 minutes at 425 before adding topping. See: pizza sauce recipe Add sauce and toppings; cook for 15 minutes at 425°.
 
Yield: 2 crusts
