finely chopped pecans |

Cream butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Combine flour, pecans, and salt and stir into butter mixture. |

Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes until lightly brown. |

Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar and sprinkle with additional chopped pecans if desired. |
