Taffy
 
 
3 cups    Sugar  
1 cup    Boiling water  
4 Tbs    White corn syrup  
  Food coloring  
2 Tbs    Butter or margarine  
2 Tbs    Vinegar  
1/2 tsp    Vanilla  
 
1 Combine all ingredients except vanilla in a heavy sauce pan. Cover and slowly bring to a boil. Cook to soft crack stage or 270. Add Vanilla.
2 Cool on buttered surface. Butter your hands to pull taffy.
