"Ann, who had never been very strong, got along very well until the last part of the journey, when her feet became so sore and swollen that she could not walk so was forced to ride in the wagon. The driver of thes wagon was a young man by the name of Holstein Monroe WARNER, of Filmore Utah. Ann's sister , Phoebe, teased her about the incident, saying that she was playing sick in order to have this young man pay attention to her.
On arriving in Utah, the DEWSNUP family expected to meet some Mormon Elders from Cache Vally, but were disappionted. They did not hnow where to go. When Mr. Warner offered to take them to Filmore with him they gladly consented to go. This it happened that they settled in Millard County instead of Cache Valley"
