Arrived in good shape:

Small parts were bagged together - nice!

The engine hook from PDR was too flimsy, so I used one from Fliskits:

Centering rings and engine mount in place:

BT-50 tubes on:

My camera was borrowed for a week and I missed many photos! :-(
I used Elmers wood glue and a credit card to fill in the balsa grains on the fins.
I added a baffle. I also sanded down the front of the antennea dowels in hopes it'll look like they're sticking into the rocket body (pic to follow)

Gluing on the antennea:

Should have checked the fins fit to the ring better:

Primed and awaiting paint:

Painted w Rustoleum Brilliant Metallic "7251 Cobalt Blue Metallic"

Ready for waterslide decals. The decals were a bit grainy?

All decals went on well

Nice straight boost to maybe 700-800 feet!
3 second delay was pretty optimal for this build.
12" chute made for a fast, but soft landing on grass.
