**THE FINAL IS ON SCANTRON SO YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A #2 PENCIL WITH YOU TO CLASS TO USE TO TAKE TEST!


To do well on the Final, be sure to study each of the following:
  1. CLASS NOTES:

    • ALL INFORMATION ON THE TEST WILL COME FROM THE CLASS NOTES!

    • THE TEST WILL BE OPEN NOTE! Students who have kept some/all of their class notes may bring them to use on the final. Students who are MISSING any/all of the class notes should read the instructions below for obtaining the notes (NOT ALL NOTES FOR ALL CLASS UNITS ARE AVAILABLE!):

      • Note outlines for the past school year may be obtained from our class website. To access the notes, students should start by clicking on the link below:

        2ND SEMESTER TOPICS

        The link will open a new window. The page that appears in the window will contain a list of all of the topics studied during second semester. Click on each item and look on the bottom, right-hand side of each page for the box that says, "Class Info" or "Class Information". Underneath the box, you should see a link for the notes. **All pages are set up as explained EXCEPT for the Industrial Revolution and the Modern Day pages. The pages for the two units ARE the notes, so run EACH ENTIRE PAGE. When you finish running all of the notes for second semester, close the window and you will see the TEST HINTS page (the one you are currently reading).

        The link will open a new window. The page you find will give you a list of all of the topics studied during first semester. To find the notes, follow the same instructions as given above for the notes on the pages for second semester.

        **REMEMBER: Most of the notes are in outline form. Many DO NOT contain all of the information that will be needed for the test. To fill in the outlines you will need to get the information from a classmate BEFORE you come to class to take the final!


  2. TEXTBOOK:

    • Textbooks WILL NOT be needed for the final.

    • TEXTBOOKS WILL BE GIVEN TO MR. CHARON ON TUESDAY, MAY 31ST AND THURSDAY, JUNE 2ND for all students wishing to avoid fines! Students may receive EXTRA CREDIT for turning in textbooks OTHER THAN THEIR OWN, which they find in their lockers or other places. Point value for the "extra" books will be discussed in class.


  3. EXTRA CREDIT ITEMS:

    • As with most of the tests given in class, you will be provided with opportunities for extra credit through:

      • participation in the "Test Review Session" that will take place on Tuesday, May 31st during the usual class period time slot. Students present for the review may gain points that will be added to their test scores.

      • responding to extra questions on the test. As always, you may respond to as many or as few such items as you choose.

    **NOTE: The test WILL count on the final grade. ALL students enrolled in the course, MUST take the test or receive a score of "zero". STUDENTS NEEDING TO TAKE THE TEST EARLIER OR LATER THAN THE DESIGNATED DATE (JUNE 2ND) MUST ARRANGE A TIME WITH MR. CHARON.
