1 3/4 x 22 x 10 Baltic birch plywood base
1 1.5 x 22 Hard maple clamp bar
2 1/2" x 3.5 Hardwood dowel
1 1/4 x 2-1/2 x 22 Hardwood plywood fence

Hardware

2 * Guide Bar clamping knob 5/16-18 through female steel insert,
2-1/4" Ø, 5-lobe
Reid Tool: DK-185 69¢
MSC Industrial Supply 06816649
2 Fence clamping stud 3-prong 1-3/4" Ø
x 1/4-20 x 1" steel stud
Reid Tool: JCL-395 98¢
2 * 5/16 threaded rod (a.k.a. "all-thread") cut 4-1/2" lengths & debur your choice

* or 3, if you want the additional clamp in the center

If you can't find all-thread and cut it to length, Reid sells threaded "setup" studs with 1-1/8" of 5/16 thread at each end. A 4" length would probably work. Part # SUS-2 for $1.47 (2004)

I looked for a woodworking supply house that carries both knobs and T-nuts, and most just carry one or the other, but McFeely's has 5/16 T-nuts $2.84/25: part #LTN-3110, 5/16 through knobs for $1.23: part # JKC3101, and two-wing knobs with 1/4-20 x 1" stud $.68: part JKD-2510

Note: 1" stud length on the fence clamp knobs are too long, and will protrude below the base, so saw them shorter, or buy 3/4" long studs if you can find them.
