; Today's image shows a minibrot being devoured by a dark shadow 
; encroaching from the right.  Shocked by this scene, I named the 
; image "The Shadow of Doom".  Actually, the shadow is the 
; advancing edge of a kind of cutoff point set by the ridiculously 
; large value of the imag(p3) parameter, which determines the 
; escape radius.
; 
; The parent fractal combines 10 negative parts of Z^(-1.1) with 
; one part of Z^(-11) before adding (1/C) on each iteration.  This 
; combination produces a very common type of parent fractal, 
; consisting of a north-south string of large bays with a 
; prominent 'fan' extending east from the origin.  Today's scene 
; lies well east of this fan, in an area that has been opened up 
; by the immense escape radius.
; 
; The art rating of a 6 implies that the image is less than 
; totally awesome.  The math rating of an 8 shows that encroaching 
; escape radii are rather unusual.

; The calculation time of 2-1/3 minutes will pass, take my word
