Public Hearings on Ethics Reform
Utahns for Ethical Government [UEG] has set locations, dates, and times for eight public hearings to inform Utahns about the Government Ethics Reform Initiative.

If placed on the 2010 ballot and passed by Utah's voters, the initiative would enact a strict code of ethical standards for Utah lawmakers and create an independent ethics commission to apply the code and make enforcement recommendations to the Utah State legislature.

Hearings are open to the public. You can learn about reasons for and specifics of the initiative. Question and answer sessions will follow the presentations. League Members:

Please note these opportunities to speak up for government ethics reform beginning Wednesday September 16. We urge you to attend a hearing near you.
