As a subscriber I get to use the charts that are found on investors.com. I've tried QP and Dailygraphs and as a retail investor who owns at most about 5 stocks I don't see a reason to spend the extra money on QP plus or DG. You do get a few advanages with those products but I would like to know if anyone honestly thinks the added function is worth the price. When I tried QP I thought that the moving average functions were real nice but the volume bars were too small. CANSLIM is volume based. I'm not sure how High Growth Stocks establishes their picks but if you take the newpaper and combine the RS and EPS rank plus BAB ranking I think your going to get a similiar list. With DG the big advantage is the condensed information that is directly CANSLIM related. That all comes at a price which I would think requires that your account be of some size. Mutual fund data is real valuable for 401K accounts and you don't get that with just DG. It really requires the newspaper plus DG. The bigest advantage that I see with these charting packages is the ability to place groups of stocks in lists. This way the short term trader can scan large groups of stocks in order to establish a buy list.
