Hi Gene,
Believe me, I work so hard on my VR Fund that occasionally I must remind =
myself that it's not real money. Guess it's my competitive spirit.
Yes, I went fully margined right before the close Wednesday. Forced five =
trades I had been chasing for two days.
In my 401K, I can only use mutual funds. Individual stocks are not an =
option.

My IRA account was within spitting distance of yours.
What do you mean margin acct.? Certainly you don't mean you went on =
margin 2 days ago.... or is that just a taxable account?
Aren't mutual funds a thing of the past?

I was just checking some performance, and confirmed that January was =
a very strange month.
My VR Fund turned in 10%, my IRA did 7.5%, my margin acct was only =
invested two days ago, and still made about 3%. Meanwhile, my 401K, =
with three mutual funds managed by "professionals", returned 0.97%.
Are my results comparable to everyone else, especially on the 401K?
