TPC Down 25% ... here other shorts I consider --> PCS CIEN MOT CEPH (watch) > -----Ursprungliche Nachricht----- > Von: Eric Jaenike [SMTP:ericjaenike@yahoo.com] > Gesendet am: Monday, February 04, 2002 7:28 PM > An: canslim@lists.xmission.com > Betreff: Re: [CANSLIM] Non Canslim > > > On another note, I used to use Etrade but switched. However, I was only able to accomplish this because I used to work at Merrill Lynch, and was familiar with how their trading operations functioned. Without the background to press my case, I would have been summarily denied restitution, which was the tactic they employed initially with me. > I have heard similar complaints from several other sources. > I now trade with Schwab, and am quite satisfied with their services. > Eric > Perry Stanfield <mpstan@attbi.com> wrote: Nasty chart Andreas............good find. This is one of those times where having a different broker has its advantages. There should be no reason that your ET should require a sell limit order for shorting. You should be able to sell short at market. Only one quick uptick this morning so far at 9:40EST, so if the shares were available you (theoretically) would have been able to get a fill.
