Andreas, Don't get caught up thinking the Government is looking out for your welfare. If they were this would not have happened. Also this problem didn't incubate in the Bush administration. It took awhile for this to cook. Congressional Hearings are for politicians to try to distance themselves from scandals like Enron. Don't believe their energetic verbal crap about righting a wrong. Hearings are held after the fact. Congress nor the SEC or any other Government body has the brains to prevent such happenings. The S & L scandals make the Enron one look smalltime. Remember Mikey Milken?? As for your question, when does a hearing set up? After the horse has left the barn. Is there a judge? Are you kidding? These Chairman are picked by their parties to annihilate the other party. They are rarely bi-partisan. Investors will take care these stock problems by selling or selling short like I have been for 6 months. The Markets are getting pounded unmercifully and rightfully so. Rome is burning.
