Hi Harbol,

I don't know if there's a website that does this, but the formula you =
would use is:

Average Daily Volume (50 days) =3D ADV
Hours market is open per day =3D 6.5 hrs

ADV*1.5/6.5 =3D minimum avg volume per hour necessary. (MAV)

At the time you are evaluating, compare the total volume to MAV*hrs =
market has been open and compare.

If Volume>=3DMAV*hrs open, then it meets the minimum breakout volume.

Extrapolations are ok, but sometimes misleading when big volume hits =
early in the day and then trails off. Sometimes best to wait to do this =
calculation until the market has more than an hour under its belt.

Katherine

  HI,
     What is the method or formula to extrapolate the current volume in =
order=20
  to judge that it would be more or less as compaired to 150% of 50 DMA =
Volume=20
  ?

  Is there any web site that can send alert signal to this effect ?

  Thanks,
  Harbol.
