Tom, Well, on 10/11 it traded from 1333 - 1389 and now we are @ 1348, so we = are=20 at levels from 10/11 as well. Of cause, the Nasdaq 100 does not represent the whole market. Of all the = indexes I know its the index with the most zing. On the Russel 2000 we = are=20 still at December levels. I do not want to make this market worse as it is. My point is: I would never have thought that another swing like this = would=20 happen. Not a great point, just wanted to chat about the fact that the market = lets=20 me shake my head and say: unbelivable. I show that Naz 100 traded 1683 = to=20 1746 > on 11/1, closing at 1746 (up 56 from the prior close). So I don't go = back=20 as > far as you. > > I would also point out that the Naz 100, like the DOW 30, is not > representative of anything but a small number of huge cap stocks. It = is=20 not > representative of the broader market. > > On NYSE Composite, you only need to go back to 2/8 to find similar=20 prices. > The Naz Composite is similar to the Naz 100, going back to 11/1. The=20 Russell > 2000 also only goes back to 2/8, as does the S&P 500. So it's a pretty = mixed > up market. > > Tom Worley > stkguru@netside.net > AIM: TexWorley > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Andreas Himmelreich" <judgejimmy@web.de> > To: <canslim@lists.xmission.com> > Sent: Friday, February 22, 2002 8:27 AM > Subject: [CANSLIM] Market, Nasdaq 100 > > > > On the nasdaq 100 we are on levels not seen since 10/10, so only a=20 couple > > of days since FTD of 9/28 (8 Trading days). > > > > Great Canslim Stocks with very good fundamentals are holding up=20 relativly > > well though. > > > > >From a projection point of view I would never have predicted this. = But=20 as > > Wons states, do not predict, just look what the market is doing now = ... > > > > Just curious: Anyone of you who had that view? > > > > - > > -To subscribe/unsubscribe, email "majordomo@xmission.com" > > -In the email body, write "subscribe canslim" or > > -"unsubscribe canslim".
