Nice cartoon! But now I'm bothered, and it started with the comment that the NASD volume was up on yesterday's rally. NBR reported 1.889b shares vs. 1.933 the previous day, so I scored the NASD neutral (vs. accumulate or distribution). YAHOO says 1.906 for yesterday vs. 1.936 (also a slight drop), nasdaq.com reports 1.902 for yesterday (couldn't find a previous). I'm not trying to beat the number to death, just trying to figure out the differences. Are some adding after hours volume and others are not? Any thoughts? Actual NASD volume aside, overall M action yesterday is encouraging, despite the slight lag in the S&P and NYSE Comp vs. the DOW and NASD % gains.
