Beth: 1) Earnings Quarter to Quarter >=24% [Gives you stocks with 25% or better incr prior two quarters] 2) Previous Day Closing Price >=$10 3) ROE >=16% 4) Debt to Equity >= 1 (I don't like debt!) 5) Forward Year PE >=1 (I don't invest in non-profits!) 6) Market Cap <= 10,000,000,000 7) Shares outstanding <=100,000,000 8) Previous Day Closing Price =>50 Day Moving Average I ended up with 84 stocks. Hardest part is locating each of the above; they hide them under all sorts of headings and sub-menus. But it's not that hard. I then export to Excel and sort/calculate [to get the data you need for this, set Current PE and 52-week high to "Display Only", that way when you export you can manipulate that data any way you want] to arrive at a list with: 1) Forward PE Index to Current PE >=110 2) Index to 52-week high =/- 15% [to get stocks within 15% of 52-wk high I also set "Industry Name" to Display Only. That way I can sort the whole list by industry. Net result: 10 Stocks, most with interesting charts: TOO JH LE COCO EDMC CRFT MGAM CRR BVN VAR I then put these in an online brokerage sample portfolio, setting the Purchase Price to the Pivot of 52-Week High. That way I can monitor how close they are to whatever and can tell where they're headed. I also add alerts to the portfolio to warn me when volume on any stock exceeds 150%. Hopefully this will help me avoid the losses I've been incurring due to my steadfast determination to break the rules! Why is that?
