I appreciate all of the dialogue on brokers; sorry that it's at Tim's expense. I mentioned my dilemma to this group earlier: I have a Simple IRA account at work with Fidelity. Due to level of my trading activity, I'm paying 25/30 for market/stop or limit trades. Ouch! I understand that after 2 years of having the account I can transfer funds from Fidelity to another brokerage. That 2 years is almost up. I use Quotetracker as do others; so I've given the linked brokerages special consideration (RJT and Datek). RJT looks appealing but are changing their fees such that for me most trades would be $10 effective April 1. I've also considered Brown and Co.; decent prices and service but not linked to quotetracker. Given the price similarities between prices, would there be any advantage of RJT over Datek? Opinions?
