     I believe you're referring to Stan Weinstein's 1-2-3-4 system of the 
birth & death of a stock (ie. its rise and fall).  Mike Gibbons, I thought, 
has a lot of useful information on the melding of CANSLIM and Weinstein 
method at his Internet Site.  I forget the address, but it's identified in 
the 4/1/02 Canslim E-mail from Mike Gibbons.
