11:31 ET AAII aaiPharma reportedly down on negative newsletter =
comments (32.72 -5.27)=20
We have been searching for a reason for AAII's plunge all morning; =
though many were trying to link it to BMY's weakness, we are hearing =
that negative comments on the company by a medical newsletter are behind =
today's weakness in the stock. We are still trying to confirm the =
existence and contents of this newsletter.

Hi Mona,
I'm not sure what may be causing the dip today other than weakness in =
drugs and medicals overall. AAII announced the acquisition of Darvon =
from LLY on the 1st, but at the time of the announcement said that it =
would be accretive to earnings and raised guidance. On the day of the =
announcement, the stock turned tail, closing at the lows.....never a =
good technical sign. The low ROE and high PE has kept me away from this =
one, but I've been watching it closely for some time. The tell might be =
the action here around the 50dMA.....worth watching to see if there's =
any institutional support.

Does anyone follow AAIPharma?
I owned it for a short time in 12/01, let myself get scared out on a =
deep
dip, then watched it go up 50%. Today it's down 15%. I've checked =
SEC
filings, news sources, etc, but not seeing anything to explain this.
I've been looking for a point to get back in.
