Gee, I wonder if maybe, somehow, somebody knew about this on Thursday when
it traded 5X ADV and lost over 14% in price value??

Wanna bet the 13% funds ownership has dropped sharply in the past two
trading days??

How come we can see this, and the SEC just ignores it?

It's time for the ordinary shareholders to start filing complaints with NASD
and the SEC for these so obvious cases of leakage of insider information. At
least the SEC can identify the large sellers, and question their motives.
They deserve some heat, as does the company.

AaiPharma files to sell 1.5 mln shares

WASHINGTON, April 5 (Reuters) - Drug research firm AaiPharma Inc. (AAII -
news) on Friday filed with the U.S. Securities and
Exchange Commission to sell 1.5 million shares of common stock.

The Wilmington, North Carolina-based company said it plans to use the
proceeds from the offering to reduce outstanding credit facilities.

The prospectus also includes about 1.1 million more shares to be sold by
selling stockholders. The company said it will not receive any proceeds
from these
shares.

There will be about 19.5 million shares to be outstanding after the
offering, according to the SEC filing.

Its shares were down $2.61, or 8 percent, at $29.89 in early afternoon
trading on Nasdaq.
