Dimitri,

I don't know of any sources for making a comparison between brokers, but as
far as Ameritrade is concerned, I have had limit orders in the market before
it opened on stock that in the first 10 minutes of trading rocketed well
past my limits. I was sure that I would have not gotten a fill at all, but
not only did they fill my order, they filled it at below my limit price.
They have won my loyalty. My one problem with them is they do not allow stop
limit orders.

Ernie,

I have always been curious about the measure of fills.
How does one go about judging the quality other than
through experience? Are there sources for such data so
that I could compare broker "A" versus broker "B"?

Thank you
Dimitri Katsaros

P.S. I use Brown & Co. whose commissions are $5 and
$10 for market and limit respectively.
