Hi Ernie,

Due to leaving work so late, I have not started looking at most charts =
yet. But did check my personal investing, had 7 of 8 stocks up for the =
day, two up nearly 20%, another up almost 10%, and a fourth up almost =
5%. Overall, my IRA gained 5.2% for the day, and my margin acct 4.4%. =
Almost every stock I own was up on heavy volume. Saw similar patterns in =
my VR Fund, which currently has 33 stocks and gained 3.47%, far =
outdistancing the Russell 2000 and every other index than the Naz, which =
narrowly beat me.

With my fund now an Information Technology sector fund, with 75% =
invested there, I was pleased to see some of the strength in technology =
despite all the doom and gloom virtually everywhere I turn regarding =
technology as an investment, including here in this group.

While today's volume was not all I expected, most major indexes did both =
beat yesterday's volume, as well as beat their daily average. So looks =
to me like we should be counting the days for a follow thru day (FTD). I =
was surprised to see so little posting on "M" and FTD.

The strength of today's move in the market confirms that yesterday was =
the day in which the market made the low I was anticipating. While there =
is still a small chance that the market could take out the low of =
1099.52 on the S&P either later this week or early next week it is very =
unlikely.

=20

This low came two days earlier than my model had predicted and at a =
price level some 30 S&P points higher than predicted. This is good news, =
because it indicates underlying strength in the market. This lends more =
evidence to the case for the new upswing in the market to take us to new =
highs for the year.

=20

The dominate trend for the next four to six weeks is up. Should be good =
times for CANSLIMers.

=20

E
