Ah, but that *is* the point, Ira. If you're going to post a list of = stocks, you should already have done the analysis. A brief explanation = of those conclusions adds value to the posted list. If you're uncertain = about the analysis and want additional points of view, others will = contribute and/or get some practice themselves. In some cases they may = even conclude it's a worthy candidate for purchase. There's nothing = wrong with posting a list. Most people have lists = out the wazoo, but many may not know how to generate their own lists, = pare down a list, or to evaluate possible candidates for purchase. The = idea of CANSLIM is self-sufficiency for the individual investor. The = idea of a group devoted to CANSLIM is to build the skills necessary for = that self-sufficiency. Nothing wrong with lists, but you want power? Add some analysis, tell = how you generated the list, tell how you narrowed down the list, tell = how you sorted the remaining stocks and chose the top 10, tell what's = good/bad about the remaining picks. Now *that's* worth taking up space = in the inbox. In the meantime, not everybody will find value in every = post. Some will delete general discussions, other will delete anything = with a list. It's a personal choice and the reason why the group isn't = moderated for content.
