That is a very impressive methodology - I also have noticed the high correlation between mini-graphs and WTBMF. Using your mining technique and trigger points, I was wondering if you've kept any statistics on:

1. The percentage of winners
2. The percentage of stocks that rise 50%+
3. The percentage of stocks that rise 200%+

  I've been enjoying your comments for a few months now and I believe that there is some real interesting information in this discussion group.  I started reading IBD 4 years ago.  It's a passion with me as others.  I have read and reread all of WON's books and several of his recommended reading such as Jesse Livermore's How to Trade in Stocks.  When I finally started using all of WON's instruction, not just the ones I liked or understood, I showed dramatic improvement in first hanging on to a few of my gains before the market plunged and I've been successful at limiting my losses since.  I decided to start (4 years ago) with my own database directly following all his CANSLIM and 24 lessons using just the data in IBD as O'Neil recommends.  If there is someone else who has done this before, forgive me, but you can appreciate the work involved as I describe.  I would like to share my method and get some discussion about the criteria for the screens.
   
  I try to do exactly what WON and IBD say to do:
   
  Each day, on the weekend if I don't have time, or after a market turn around, I enter the highlighted stock symbols and their dates of the paper from "Where The Big Money's Flowing" on both exchanges.  Then I enter all the stock symbols and dates from all the Mini Graphs; "NYSE Stocks In The News", "NASDAQ Stocks In The News", the two Mini Graphs in the Mutual Funds section, Fridays "Weekend Review", the highlighted stocks from "Your Weekend Review" that are the volume movers for the week, and all the new "Yellow highlighted stocks" from Mondays paper. This could easily be over 200 symbols and dates per week. This becomes an index for later finding the Mini Graphs to look up the fundamental data on the charts.  I feel  that there is a good reason why IBD is printing these charts everyday.
   
  I then start with my "Big Money Flowing" symbols and look up each chart on Investors.com.  If I recognize a pattern such as a Cup and Handle, Double Bottom or Flat Base, I print the chart.  I always look at the weekly chart too because many times I don't recognize a big cup unless I look at the longer time frame.  I believe that studying  these charts is what WON is trying to explain in each and every one of his books and articles. I use the right click tool for price movements to write the high and low areas on the charts  much like what shows on DGO.  
   
  I cut out and save all the mini graphs; "NYSE and NASDAQ Stocks In The News" (SITN), "Weekend Review" (WR), "The New America" and its weekly index in Fridays paper, and any special sections that I can look up when the market takes off.
   
  For each chart that I print, from the highlighted "Where The Big Moneys Flowing", I use the mini graphs to look up the CANSLIM fundamentals like this:
   
  Starting in the upper left hand portion of the mini graph and working from left to right and around in a clockwise circle I pick up the data and I have set the CANSLIM criteria screen as:
   
  1.    Number of shares           less than 60 million
  2.    EPS                               85+      
  3.    Annual Earnings              25+
  4.    Debt                               0
  5.    Last Qtr EPS                  25+ and increasing 
  6.    Prior Qtr EPS                 25+ and increasing
  7.    Last Qtr Sales                25+ and increasing
  8.    MGMT Owns                  20+              
  9.    RS                                85+
  10.   Spon Rate                    B+
  11.   PE                              100-
  12.   ROE                            17+ and increasing
  13.   Grp RS                        B+
   
   
  I then sort the list by scoring 1 point for each of these major CANSLIM, WON and IBD 24 lesson objectives.
   
  I attach the printed Investors.com graphs in order to the list and this is my daily lookup for a follow through market that I keep available. (See my list example below)
   
  I then figure the pivot points and I use a mobile alert when the price goes through the pivot point.  If I can interpolate the volume at more than 50% I then consider buying the stock.
   
  I have some observations I would like to share. 
   
  First, rarely will a stock show up that has a good chart that is not in my index of the mini graphs, meaning probably 90% of the time IBD has a mini graph of a highlighted "Where The Big Moneys Flowing" high volume stock.  This been proven to me over and over again for 4 years.
   
  Second, like IBD, my database reset during the October follow through.  I only prepare for my lists after a follow through and when the market is acting right.  At the end of the first quarter, of the 119 stocks on my list, 47 still had possibilities, 27 broke out and ran up and 36 broke down (below 50 day moving average).  This has kept me mostly on the sidelines.  Just watching the failed breakouts and sideways movement is all I need to know that I need to wait.  
   
   
  If the market were to begin to set up this next week, I would look at each one of these stocks to see if their charts were still ok.
   
  I compiled a list for last Monday of the previous 2 weeks as an example.  I like to stick to stocks above a score of  8.
   
  If anyone has any comments that would be of some help to me or others, I would greatly appreciate the advise or criticism.

  a good chart that is&nbsp;not in my index of the mini graphs, meaning probably 
  90% of the time IBD has a mini graph of a highlighted "Where The Big Moneys 
  Flowing" high volume stock.&nbsp; This been proven to me over and over again 
  for 4 years.</FONT></DIV>

  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Second, like IBD, my database reset during the 
  October follow through.&nbsp; I only prepare for my lists after a follow 
  through and when the market is acting right.&nbsp; At the end of the first 
  quarter, of the 119 stocks on my list, 47 still had possibilities, 27 broke 
  out and ran up and 36 broke down (below 50 day moving average).&nbsp; This has 
  kept me mostly on the sidelines.&nbsp; Just watching the failed breakouts and 
  sideways movement is all I need to know that I need to wait.&nbsp;
