Hi everyone,
One thing that puzzles me is the variation in quote PE's depending on =
where you get your information.
OK - I here everyone say - PE's have limitations etc which I agree with, =
but within those limitations they can be a good way of assessing =
valuation within those limitations.
BUT a PE is not a PE as this article by Charlie Minter of Comstock =
points out--

 http://www.investavenue.com/article.html?ID=3D4999

Lets take an example-

LMT according to my Quote.com quote sheet(part of q-charts) has LMT's PE =
at 75.8

But according to Yahoo LMT's PE is 149.44 which they say is the trailing =
twelve month earnings

Bigcharts has LMT's PE at 162.50

Thomson FN has LMT's PE at 24.7.

Any insight into this would be appreciated

Thanks

Peter
